More about our laboratory
The Osborne Lab has a diverse research program focusing on biogeochemical processes in soil and water in a variety of ecosystems throughout Florida.
Our lab works on a variety of wetland projects to include shellfish restoration in the Indian River Lagoon, regional water quality studies, greenhouse gas emissions, and soil mapping.
Osborne Lab at the Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience, University of Florida, provides water quality testing, nutrient analysis, wetland monitoring, estuarine science, shellfish restoration support, and environmental analytical services in St. Augustine, Florida.
Our laboratory supports researchers, agencies, municipalities, restoration groups, environmental consultants, and project partners with freshwater, saltwater, estuarine, soil, and plant sample analysis throughout Florida and beyond.
Osborne Lab performs environmental nutrient analysis, dissolved organic carbon testing, particulate organic carbon testing, salinity analysis, pH testing, sulfate analysis, silica analysis, and environmental monitoring support for coastal, wetland, and restoration projects.
